Peter Zaffina Facility Manager/CFP

Peter is the manager and senior trainer at PTP of wilton. He received a degree in Exercise Science at Southern Connecticut State University, as well as minors in nutrition and wellness. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he quickly began his professional career at PTP of wilton and has been there since 2011. He is also certified in TRX suspension training, basic cardio boxing and Kettlebell training. Peter has experience working with a wide variety of demographics through many fitness domains such as weight loss, strength and conditioning, speed and agility, injury prevention and even meal planning.

Peter has been an athlete his entire life, starting with soccer at an early age and eventually shifting to Rugby. Along with staying active on the field, Peter spent most of his time in the fitness center as well. Eventually, he began shifting roles from athlete to coach and is now highly involved with Wilton youth soccer and youth speed and agility training. Peter prides himself on working as hard as possible to help his clients achieve their goals in a safe and fun environment.

Alicia Calaway CFP

Alicia has dedicated her professional career to the health and fitness industry, resulting in over 27 years of extensive experience both in New York City and here in her home state of Connecticut.

After winning the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) Ms. Connecticut Amateur Natural Bodybuilding Competition in 1994 she moved to New York and became one of Manhattan's elite personal trainers.

Alicia also worked closely with a national Fitness chain in both regional and national management roles. She is a recognized media personality who was a health and fitness reporter for WNYW- FOX 5 NEWS, a fitness correspondent for the Oxygen Network and a co-host for the ESPN anthology series, The World's Strongest Man and The World's Strongest Woman in South Africa.

As a spokesperson for Reebok, she made appearances and a national commercial which helped her become an integral part of their campaign "Women Defying Convention." Alicia is certified through the International Sports Sciences Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She also holds certifications for TRX, Rip Trainer and Kettle Bell training and is CPR & AED certified with the American Red Cross.

Patricia Moya Certified Pilates Instructor

Patricia Moya is a dedicated fitness educator, specializing in Pilates and the art of movement. She is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Wilton and part of the team at PTP Wilton. Patricia received her Authentic Pilates certification in 2002, under the tutelage of master teacher, Romana Kryzanowska, the protégé of Joseph Pilates. As a former professional dancer, Pilates conditioning was critical to her growth as an injury-free performer. Patricia’s innovative approach facilitates rehabilitation, rebalancing the body and managing chronic pain.

At PTP Wilton, Patricia brings over 20 years of experience practicing the Pilates Method. She blends in cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training, in order to help her clients achieve a mind-body transformation. Patricia thoroughly enjoys helping others reach their fitness goals, reduce stress and find freedom through movement.

Prior to moving back to Wilton, Patricia was an elite trainer at DLFit Pilates Wellness Studio in Soho, NYC, and taught group fitness and Pilates for Equinox Fitness Clubs.

In 2013, Patricia completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program with Mitchell & Tracy Bleier of the former YogaPata, in Wilton. Patricia is a member of IDEA and maintains her CPR certification. Additional certifications include, Pilates Triadball Method, DLFIT Muscle Release Program, Pre & Post-natal fitness. Forever a student, she participates in continuing education workshops annually and teaches dance for the Walter Schalk School of Dance.

Patricia majored in Theatre/Dance at Smith College and completed a 2-year scholarship and certification program in Advanced Dance Studies at The Alvin Ailey School. Her dancing career included tours of Broadway productions, both nationally and internationally. Patricia is a vested member of Screen Actors’ Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists.
